Beauty Contest and "Honing Your Judging Skills"
This was a laid back meeting this month. We spent most of the evening hanging out and talking. Michael George and Terry Buschmann gave us a slide slow presentation of tips on how to judge. Their show was mostly about cars, but the principles are applicable to all builds. Watch for seams, watch for consistant finishes, clear parts should be clear and symmetric parts should be symmetric (all the wheels on the ground!). This was in preparation for September's show which I hope you all have a chance to attend.
We had our usual beauty contest. All in attendance got one vote for favorite build. Fred Amos wins with his P-40E! Congratulations.
Our monthly silent auction of kits donated to the club went very well. Toys-for-Tots will be well taken care of this year!
